Colorado Impact Fund Adds Two New Advisory Council Members

Dr. Peter Hudson and Bryan Leach Bring Added Credentials to Already Impressive Council

(Denver, CO) – April 20, 2015 - Colorado Impact Fund(CIF), a venture fund dedicated to supporting local companies that generate consistent investment returns and positive community impact, is pleased to announce the addition of two new advisory council members – Dr. Peter Hudson and Bryan Leach. Both join the CIF Advisory Council with unparalleled success, knowledge and experience in their respective fields. Colorado Impact Fund launched a year ago and has made two notable investments to date, in Bhakti Chai and Schoolrunner. Hudson and Leach join a distinguished group of some of Colorado’s most respected CEO’s and leaders who are committed to helping Colorado companies.

Dr. Peter Hudson is a physician with over 15 years experience founding and growing healthcare related businesses. An emergency room physician by background, Dr. Hudson was recognized by CNN Moneyin 2012 as one of 12 Entrepreneurs Reinventing Healthcare. He was Colorado Technology Association’s 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year, and was selected to be the guest of First Lady Michelle Obama at the 2013 State of the Union Address, representing leadership in healthcare innovation. His latest venture, mobile health app iTriage, based in Denver, was sold to Aetna in 2012. It was considered to be the first significant acquisition in digital health. Dr. Hudson has been very involved with Colorado Impact Fund over the last several months as a voice in the healthcare realm.

Bryan Leach is a graduate of Harvard College, Oxford and Yale Law School. He is the founder and CEO of Ibotta, one of the most frequently used mobile apps in the U.S. Based in Denver, Ibotta, works with some of the largest consumer packaged goods companies and leading retailers to help them influence in-store purchases using mobile technology. Leach has attracted some of the country’s most successful venture investors to his rapidly growing Colorado business. Prior to founding Ibotta, he was a partner at Denver law firm Bartlit Beck and clerked for Justice David Souter at the U.S. Supreme Court. Leach brings superior knowledge of digital mobile technology to the Colorado Impact Fund’s efforts.
